Rana Banik 3 years agoI had a lot of food and reading materials from ISKCON wo giving a single penny.

They obviously ask for donations and charity but they won’t swindle money from you.

They provide food to everyone irrespective of race, religion.

If you are hungry go to the temple, they will take care of you.

ISKCON is the best charity organization in the world.

Rahul Parihar 4 years ago@JJ-vc6pp made with human hands ? so just tell me that did you seen your biological father before your birth ? did you seen him when he was tilling your mother ? did you ? did you learned everything without anyones help ? huh?

and just tell me that will people go to heaven ? by worshiping your pseudo legends idols ? huh? since people do worship humans as well to whom they admire as if they are god. so will they go to heaven ? and here by worshiping the god under the guidance of real mother who has seen our father before our birth and knows it that who tilled her. we are going to go to hell ? ( waha! ) just see the fun!

katherine green 5 years agoBack in the late 80s/early 90s... Kings Cross Sydney, there was always a big line up outside the Hare Krsna free food joint...amaizing halava...subzi...rice...papadam...young people, drug addicts, alcoholics all would get "high" on the prasadam distribution...there was probably sweet kirtan going on in the background too but I never had the ears to appreciate the transcendental vibration....There was a restaurant upstairs, and they had movie nights.Wasnt until I started going to the Sunday feasts in Newton with all my flatmates that I really got a taste of the singing and dancing and later on after a trip to India that I finally got a copy of the Bagavadgita....which changed my life...never to believe the materialistic world view that mainstream media perpetuates even to this day...Hare Krsna.
