Hare Krishna Plays and Dramas

Hare Krishna devotees often perform plays and dramas based on the pastimes of Lord Krishna and Lord Caitanya as they are revealed in books like Bhagavad-gita As It Is, Srimad-Bhagavatam and Caitanya-caritamrta. They also sometimes put on speculative plays without any basis in the revealed scriptures which are not approved by Srila Prabhupada and the disciplic succession. We need to follow in the footsteps of the great acharyas, not think that we are smarter than them...
