For many years now Indradyumna Swami has been organizing a huge festival program in Poland every summer culminating in the Polish Woodstock Festival. The Hare Krishna devotees with their "Village of Peace" have become an integral part of the Polish Woodstock festival. The devotees have their own big tent with devotional programs going on constantly throughout the festival and also appear on the main stage on one night.
This documentary was taped at the Polish Woodstock Festival, near the town of Zary in Southwest Poland in August, 1997. Featured are the devotees of the Hare Krishna Movement and their Village of Peace band. The devotees, headed by Indradyumna Swami, are invited each year to the festival by the organizer, Mr. Jurek Owsiak, who appreciates the atmosphere of peace and harmony they bring to his festival of 50,000 people.
