Prabhupada's Palace of Gold

Prabhupada's Palace is located at New Vrindavan near Moundsivlle, West Virginia. The devotees at New Vrindavan wanted to build a house for Srila Prabhupada to live in when he visited their Hare Krishna rural community. The construction of Prabhupada's house was not completed in 1977 when Srila Prabhupada left our material vision. So the devotees continued the construction as a monument to Srila Prabhupada. It became Prabhupada's Palace of Gold and the opening captivated the US media and Prabhupada's Palace is now a Hare Krishna rural community as well as a tourist attraction.
