The story of Krishna and the many-hooded serpent demon Kaliya.
Kaliya came to Vrindavan and polluted the waters of the river Yamuna with his poison.
This created a great problem for the residents of Vrindavan and their cows.
So Krishna fought with the serpent Kaliya and forced him to go somewhere else so the river Yamuna was again free from poison and safe for Krishna's cows to drink and for His cowherd boy friends to play in.
Kaliya the giant deadly five-headed venomous serpent king became a major threat to the peace and tranquility of the great water lands.
Garuda the half eagle-half human warrior had to challenge him to restore peace.
Having defeated Kalia he ordered him to leave the great water land and banished him forever.
Kalia trespassed in Vrindavan threatening the lives of the innocent people.
Krishna and his friends were busy playing in the river Yamuna, as Kaliya poisoned the river with his lethal venom.
The weeds died, the water creatures scampered around trying to find a vent of shelter.
Krishna's friends lost their consciousness in the fumes of the deadly venom.
As Krishna was trying to get them to safety, Kalia attacked.
Helpless Nanda along with worry stricken Yashoda and the rest of inhabitants of Vrindavan witnessed as a great battle progressed between Krishna and Kalia.
Showcasing breath taking underwater sequences of their fight and truly epic moments of Krishna- the- warrior forcing open Kalia's poisonous monstrous jaws while dancing his way to victory on top him, he emerged a true hero by showing mercy once he managed to remove the poison that had intoxicated Kalia.
