When I japa-walked the parikrama path back in 1980 it was still a dirt path and there were no cars or motorcycles at all. It was very peaceful since it was not discovered, nor was there any big buildings, it still felt like a little town. Especially Raman-reti was quiet and without the built up areas as it is now. Things sure have changed, but Vrindavan still is not contaminated. Thank you for taking us along, Hare Krishna :-)

Oh yes! And so it does reveal the year, thank you. I visited that "Sky Scraper Temple" during the late 70's just after Srila Prabhupada left our vision a few times. Little did I know the temple would be gone by the time I was 21.
