Tanishka

In the early 90's I used to go to the Hare Krishna kitchen on Swanston street in Melbourne city once a week or so. For $2 you could get a beautifully cooked vegetarian meal with rice, pakora, and this delicious halva served with custard. I always felt so nourished afterwards. I remember Kumar being there sometimes and he was such a lovely and friendly person. I had his cookbook and it was filled with delicious recipes.
