  • Vedic Cosmos scientifically reveals the mystery, origins and nature of the workings of the universe while explaining the passing of the seasons, eclipses, phases of the moon and the passing of day and night.
Eminent scientists recognize the value of Vedic Cosmology, and confirm that a geocentric (or earth-centered) model of the universe is also capable of explaining the cosmic phenomenon with equal, if not better, accuracy.
Prominent Vedic scholars emphasize the importance of a 3D presentation using technology in a Vedic Planetarium.
Magnificient temples of Angkor Wat and Borobudur incorporate astronomical and cosmological alignments into their architecture.
A glimpse of the lost relationship between the Puranas and the Siddhantas shows that their foundational astronomical principles are the same.
Vedic Cosmos takes you on a multi-dimensional journey through the unknown and subtle features of the entire universe and beyond.
Produced by Danavir Goswami of ISKCON Rupanuga Vedic College.

Krishna Tube 3 years agoScience has no idea whatsoever about the universe. The only reason they imagine the stars are so so far away is because if you accept the earth is rotating and orbiting around the sun, which the model they are so attached to proposes, then earth is going to be almost 200,000 miles away from where it was 6 months ago [as it rotates around the sun 93,000,000 * 2].

So if that was the case, unless the stars were so so so far away we would see them differently from one side of the sun to the other, but we don't. That is the only reason science has placed the stars so so so far away.

Not that they can measure the distance to the stars. No. Only because if the stars were not light years away their model would break.

So from the Vedas we know earth is stationary. So there is no reason for the stars to be light years away. And we know the diameter of the universe is only 4 billion miles, earth is in the center, so nothing we can see in the sky is more than two billion miles away...

Lxxx G 3 years ago@KrishnaTube Well, that gives me a hard time. I'm wether a scientist, nor a real spiritualist. All I know for sure is that humankind made a huge leap in technological and social development in just a few decades and also that there is the supernatural, of which people know since millenia. However, I find that Gaudiya Vaishnava Siddhanta & Vedanta hold the most elaborate spiritual knowledge I know of, but I have a hard time with that obvious conflict between astrophysical and vedic cosmology, between scince and religion. Thanx 4 answering, pranam!

Lxxx G 3 years agoWhat Vishvananda Swamiji says is the so true - it needs proof! Especialy if you want people to devote there whole lives to the vedic (or any other) lifestyle and phylosophy. Is the vedic planetarium the proof or is ISKCON going to work with NASA? The Vatican has it's own observatory for example.

Krishna Tube 3 years agoThe devotees of Krishna are not very interested in the structure of the universe. We are interested in the spiritual world, far beyond the material world. ISKCON has no idea, I think they can not even be reading the Srimad-Bhagavatam, their Vedic Planetarium does not show any indication they have even studied the Vedic texts on the matter. So ISKCON's planetarium is just a joke. We do not learn from observing. You can not learn anything substantial about the universe by observing, because we can't see anything really of the universe. It is mostly hidden from us.

We learn about the universe, and other things, by hearing about it from authorities. So Veda means knowledge, all knowledge is there in the Vedas, and all one has to do is hear it. And that is correct. We do not need an observatory, and observatory is useless actually for understanding the true structure and workings of the universe.

Lxxx G 3 years ago@KrishnaTube Thank You for answering me, I really appreciate it! I'm sorry for automaticaly assuming this channel belongs to ISKCON! I find it quite important to learn by observation, it's the way we learn from the very beginning of our life and we can also observe the correctness of vedic knowledge, especialy as far as psychology is concerned. Because of natural science like physics we now have the internet and smartphones, which inbytheway make it possible for common people everywhere to catch a huge mass of video- and audio evidence of UFOs, miracles and a lot of paranormal evidence and make it available to everyone worldwide. In this way spirituality and technology fuse and show us the nature of the universe. I'm really curious about what our global fate will be in future, we live in a really fascinating era. God bless America, jay Bharat Mata ki jay, Pranam!

          • Krishna Tube
Krishna Tube 3 years agoNo. Krishna is time, and time destroys everything. Time is insurmountable. You can only travel one direction in time and that is forward at the speed determined by Krishna. It is not possible to travel in time in any other way.

Lxxx G 3 years ago@KrishnaTube Is it not even possible by means of mystic powers? As far as I know a person who has his/her Ajna Chakra (3rd eye) open, can see the past, present and furure at once. But traveling between these by yogic and magic means is not possible?
