Srila Prabhupada, the Founder-Acarya of the Hare Krishna movement, wants to build a planetarium based on the description of the universe found in Srimad-Bhagavatam. This description is radically different from the version of the universe that has been presented to us through science and if we can establish that the description of the universe given in Srimad-Bhagavatam is correct and the ideas of the scientists are incorrect then that will create great interest in Srimad-Bhagavatam and all scientists and thoughtful people of the world will want to study Srimad-Bhagavatam. Unfortunate it appears that the developers of ISKCONs Vedic Planetarium at Mayapur have not even read Srimad-Bhagavatam.
