The Hare Krishna's purchased the dilapidated Fisher Mansion in Detroit and have renovated it mangnificiently and turned it into a showcase for Krishna consciousness and Indian Vedic culture. There is a beautiful Radha-Krishna temple along with a mult-media exhibition and restaurant serving delicious Krishna prasadam. The Fisher Mansion was purchased by Alfred Ford on the request of his spiritual master A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and Alfred Ford financed and supervised the renovations of the mansion.
