ISKCON Bangalore started as an ISKCON temple under the direction of Jayapataka Swami. After some time the Temple President, Madhu Pandit das, was convinced that Srila Prabhupada established a system of ritvik initiations in ISKCON and that Prabhupada intended that he would continue accepting disciples in ISKCON even after he physically left our vision. This system is codified in a letter written by Tamal Krishna Gosvami and signed by Srila Prabhupada on July 9th, 1977. It is on the authority of this July 9th letter that ISKCON Bangalore have established the ritvik system of initiation where the devotees directly accept initiation from Srila Prabhupada. This puts the ISKCON Bangalore group of temples against ISKCON so ISKCON have rejected the ISKCON Bangalore group and claim they are not part of ISKCON....
