Krishna the Supreme Personality of Godhead

Lord Krishna appeared within this material world five thousand years ago. Krishna appeared in Matura, India. At the time Krishna's father and mother, Vasudeve and Devaki, were imprisoned by the cruel King Kamsa. Kamsa wanted to kill Krishna and he was waiting for Krishna's birth and planned to kill the child immediately. But with the help of His father Krishna escaped to Vrindavan and was accepted as the child of Nanda Maharaja and Mother Yasoda. Krishna's childhood pastimes are wonderful and are meditated on by the devotees.
