Prahlada and the Krishna Kids are a group of twelve year old Gurukul students from the Australian Hare Krishna Farm. In the 1980s when Hare Krishna devotees were being persecuted in the USSR Prahlada wrote a song: "Mr Gorbachev Please Let Our Friends Go". Prahlada's album was released by EMI, a large record company, and Australian Television stations covered the campaign to free the Russian Hare Krishnas.
During the 1980's the Russian government put many religious persons in prison including dozens of Hare Krishna devotees. This video shows a protest by the Australian devotees at the Russian Embassy requesting the president of Russia to free the imprisoned Hare Krishna devotees.
