Lol, a Christian accusing others that you rip off money from people, that's the best joke I've heard in my 20 years of life.
@sumitrasaha5566 Yeah, i agree with you. He was from affluent family but had to go through poverty after demise of his father. After which his turn around in life happened. He met with Sri Ramakrishna Paramhans and gained spiritual insight.
There are many examples of saints going through the same path in india.
You must read a bengali book "Bharoter Sadhok" to know more about their life.

@gigachad-nd2no Iskcon also doesnt convert people by manipulating or by force. People join them by their goodness. I have visited them on several occasions but i didnt convert to their sect. Neither did they ask me to join them as regular member.
But i have seen evangelists spitting venom over hinduism in rural areas. They get commission per convert.

@gabinoAAT06 hindus dont harass the christians. Only those evangelists who speak bad about our religion to make christianity appear superior are taken up by activists. If someone doesnt like to change their religion, why continue pestering and irritating those people to take up a God from foreign land? We already know that all the so called gods were influential people and Jesus was nothing different.
So you can continue your religious practice and let others do their own. No one is going to harass you. We have several people belonging to different religions and sects in our social circle. We dont bother to hurt each others religious sentiments. We just respect each other's God. Strict monotheism is the real culprit here. In hinduism, there is monotheism as well as polytheism and pantheism too. There is no strict rule that you need to pray to particular God or Deity. All prayers are directed towards the unmanifested formless God through different means.

@gigachad-nd2no indus valley civilization itself dates back to 8000BC according to latest findings. It can be even older actually. But according to bible, everything is stuck at 4004 BC. Bible doesnt have any science in it because according to it, spirit of God used to hover over waters. Then it goes on to tell that the universe was created in 6 days. When there was nothing, how did they calculate the time?
Surely the writer of bible didnt know anything about the initial state of matter when even subatomic particles were not formed. Water molecules formed at much later stage. All the cosmology theory in bible is childish imagination. If christians knew that earth is round, then why did they killed gallileo, socrates etc when they stated the same? Why did maglen sent 5 ships to verify whether the earth is flat or not? why did christopher columbus went on voyage to find distant lands? All because they thought earth is a square and by travelling to any direction, they would fall from the edge.
But even in hindu mythology, the earth is depicted as spherical.

@John its not uncommon for great saints to roam around in search of knowledge. These saints used to arrange big conferences or seminars at various religious sites and have a healthy debate about their philosophies and religious texts. That way they used to enhance their knowledge and then spread the spiritual knowledge.
Jesus also was one of them. Even the so called Gods and demigods in hinduism were once humans and studied in gurukul system away from the noise of cities. Lord Rama and Krishna also learnt spirituality, warfare techniques and other subjects from their respective teachers. The wife of the teacher used to take care of all the needs of students just like a mother.

@sumitrasaha5566 i read somewhere that Swami Vivekananda had gone bankrupt and faced adversities. He was a witty and highly intelligent person. He was agnostic person before meeting Sri Ramakrishna Paramhamsa.
