Srila Prabhupada had many very successful preaching engagements during his visits to Australia, however this was not the case at Melbourne's Latrobe University.
The Australian ISKCON devotees organized a speaking engagement for Prabhupada at Latrobe University but this was a time when there were a lot of communist agitators and born again Christians at the university. So Srila Prabhupada attempted to explain the science of Krishna consciousness to the students however there were many interruptions by communists and one particular born again Christian, who was getting quite a bit of support and encouragement from the audience.
Overall this was a very unfavorable audience and put Srila Prabhupada and the devotees into a very difficult position. Apparently there were actual physical fights also between the devotees and agitators outside the hall, we do not have that on the film.
So this is a very interesting documentary about a not so successful preaching engagement.

Annapurna 2 years agoYes Jesus said turn the other cheek and Srila Prabhupada also showed his mercy to these boys... actually the way they disrespected Srila Prabhupada reminded me of the Biblical story of the prophet Elisha, the boys, and the bears 2 Kings 2:23-24.
Elisha Is Jeered
23 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some boys came out of the town and jeered at him. “Get out of here, baldy!” they said. “Get out of here, baldy!” 24 He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the Lord. They will marginalize anyone different from themselves. Erased the native population of entire Americas and Australia, New Zealand just to name a few.
And the Muslims are famous across the world also. Iraq, Iran, Syria, Egypt Saudi Arabia..to name a few.

Manmohan Yadav 3 years agoReligion and politics were created to control human populations. Santana Dharma is the oldest known way to worship God and discusses millions of years of creation. The Abrahamic religions began about 2000 years ago and insist that the world is 4000 years old because it says so in the scriptures. Scientifically the world is millions of years old and evolution created all life on the planet. There was a period of dianosures followed by mammals including us. Evolution is not understood by all religions. The milky way and the universe is incredibly large but we with limited knowledge are unable to fathom it. Yet we have bigoted views on each other who follow a different understanding of God. Science can neither support or negate the concept of God until clear scientific evidence comes up.

Why you fear when a dagger is put into through your chest? The soul is unimaginably minuscule, it can’t get hurt, cut,burnt,etc. your real self is in your soul, you will leave this body and get another one. So why you fear of death? Why you fear violence? Why you fear getting killed? This body at the end will turn back into dust , from where it was originally made, no matter how hard you try, and you will get a new one! Every time I see them I feel they have this enormous amount of stress to prove that their god is great and others are infidels. They need to calm down and respect others. suvadeep banerjee 4 years agoJesus himself used to live in India in his earlier and later ages and studied Hinduism and Buddhism. He left his mortal body in Kashmir of India. Read the great books "Jesus lived in India" and "Secret Life of Jesus".
Sunit Dutta 4 years agoIts sad to see how people react to such great thinking of love and spirituality, everyone wants to be the hero of this material world by lacking spirituality consciousness and are motivated only for their personal cause not for all of human race, another thing is that if you dont support some cause then you dont but just have the respect to not undermine someone other for just because of you, respect and peace should be the only principle of the human race regardless of you cast, creed and religion.

Humanity and humans are one irrespective of race, colour and religion. My religion is universal. I believe and respect all religions irrespective. I since childhood pray in a Church,I go to the mosque, to a temple and in any place and situation where there is relevance and a connection to God. I have never been confused and live a peaceful life. I am a human being belonging to a human race.
Life is Short 4 years agoThey can spread goodness of hinduism all over the world but can't overthrow caste system in India. This is the greatness of Hinduism. I believe in Bhagwat Geeta but in India, most people don't follow it, being it political leader or the priest of temple.

WHO IS REAL OWNER and MASTER (of course GOD) off ALL MATTER and ALL LIVING BEINGS. It is VERY DIFFICULT , because all or MOST of the inhabitants of planet Earth (regardless of social status) live in their fantasies that they are the owners.
