@sampathkumar3472 Exactly my point. Thinking for oneself, being rational, going by evidence rather than blind belief - can lead to progress. And when new evidence emerges, we need to update our understanding. Applies to the bible, koran, jewish torah, hindu scriptures, and so on. And when listening to any person who claims to "know" or to have "wisdom". Best wishes.

@kusharora1435 No one needs to fall at the feet of any other human being. That's an affront to human dignity. You can admire someone else's accomplishments, but you need not be subjugated or subservient. In my observation, people in India have a strange propensity to worshipping movie stars and a variety of gods. People even make prayerful gestures to a cow passing on the street. There's a flourishing guru business. All I'm saying is: be skeptical, look for evidence, seek confirmation. Don't follow like sheep, or like a mindless zombie. Best wishes.

​@kalyann1600 You can live your life the way you want. You can either examine the validity of any opinion, or you can fall victim to scams. Use the scientific way. Or you can live life in ignorance, superstitions, with no progress. It's up to you.

@arindammitra2293 You make good points. My main focus was that it's important to question authority, not follow blindly like sheep. This country, USA, was born from challenging the authority of the British king. Maybe it's in the American DNA, but we take very little at face value. Of course we have our own cults too, but in general we're inclined to seek evidence.

Surrender? A better way would be to examine any opinion, from this guy or from anyone else. Blind belief is an obstacle to progress, growth of human civilization. Just think back in history, there were so many ideas that we now know were totally baseless.

Excellent idea to question every person or so called guru who gets up on stage and spouts dubious opinions or narratives. This guy was around maybe in the 1960s, 1970s, but there's no shortage of charlatans running a guru scam now in 2021.
