@worldisone8282 Thank you for your note. I have both Hindu and Christian friends in India. I don’t mean to say that “all” Indian Hindus are committing acts of violence and I also agree with your point of tolerance of Hindus.

However, my Hindu friends in India have told me about the hatred being spread against minority groups because of a certain narrative being circulated that 2.3% Christians are forcibly converting the majority Hindus into Christianity.

They said this has happened ever since the change in governments where there has been no regard for the law of the land and rioting and mob lynching has become commonplace it seems.

Both my Hindu friends in India and I would not tolerate and form of forced conversion, but to reduce it to mob violence speaks a lot of the inner peace those groups enjoy.

This is a very recent incident where they attacked a missionary school in India which could have ended in disaster !

Forcibly entering churches and attacking or harassing worshippers seems to be commonplace these days. I was also sent a picture of a news article where a “survey” was conducted in a village in a place called Karnataka and they found no such case of any forced conversions and called the survey off. Please do look it up.

Hindus have perhaps been one of the most peaceful civilisations that has ever existed. However, these days there is a radical political version that has taken over and spreading like a aggressive cancer no different from ISIS and the crusaders of the past. The systematic and strategic attempt is to “awaken” Hindus. I’m not sure what they mean by that. Be it the media or movies or fake history articles, anything goes. If you have a problem with a set of people, there are ways to resolve it rather than demonise the entire community.

They’re raking up things from the past like British colonialism and justifying their ideology which doesn’t make sense in this day and age when those responsible have passed on and the current generation doesn’t operate in that manner or subscribe to that way.

They cite atrocities committed by the British and term it as “Christian” and have begun treating local Christians (Indian) as though they were British. Just as Pakistanis treat Hindus in Pakistan.

Without realising that Christianity reached India through the direct disciple of Jesus Christ : St. Thomas in 52AD much much before it reached Europe or Britain.

Christians lived in India and practised Christianity much before the British showed up in India.

I was amazed to noticed a video of one chap accusing the British for the caste system in India ! They are clueless of the Manusmriti from over 3000 BCE which their own leaders of the past condemned, with one political figure by the name of Ambedkar who burned a copy in 1927.

Furthermore Hindus too proselytise (even though they claim that they don’t) under the banner of ISKCON. Look up their website for locations in the west (USA / EU) you would be shocked !

They distribute books and evangelise in public places in the West and that’s okay but have a huge concerns of the 2% of Christians taking over their country.

Imagine the west beating up and burning them like they did Graham Staines and his two little boys or dousing ISKCON converts with acid like the 14 yr boy in Bihar India in the recent past whose pictures are unable to watch. Such inhuman acts would certainly not be appreciated I would imagine.

Many are like cattle who follow the herd without reasoning. Thankfully there are many who are still use their critical faculties, who are righteous in thought and in deed which brings hope.

By your argument, every country in the west probably has a missionary at the border control offering inducements / money / rice ? For all immigrants to convert. That would be the easiest way isn’t it ? Want a better quality of life ? Convert.

What Hindus fail to understand is faith is a spiritual matter and not up for sale.

If a person really “converts” or accepts a faith for money, then what stops him from doing it again for a higher bidder of another faith ? No one would want such a person in their community so to speak. Don’t you think ?

Instead of putting your energy into arguing a lost cause, work with you people in keeping your environment clean. This is not a competition we’re fighting for. It’s up the to each one to work towards the quality of life they wish to live.

Non functioning Church buildings in the UK have been given to Hindus.

Please go to the ISKCON website and take a look at the locations where temples have been built in almost every country / cities in the west.

ISKCON devotees openly distribute books and literature in public areas and convert people to their way. Do westerners assault them ? Or do they torture or kill them on a regular basis like has been the case in India ?

Indians have been immigrating to the west in LARGE numbers over the years and my Indian friends say they do not wish to go back to India because it is so disorganised and corrupt and unhygienic.

Did the west “forcibly” convert Hindus when they have immigrated to the west ?

If they are doing it in India as a 2% minority as Hindus claim, Then they could have easily done it in the west and Hindus would have readily agreed because they want a better quality of life anyway.

@SATYUG3z who is the Vatican you think ? Vatican is not the keeper of the Christian faith. The Vatican is Rome who exploited Christianity when Israel was under Rome for power on account of the rapid growth of Christianity inspite of their repeated attempts to mercilessly torture its followers till death to end it which on the contrary resulted in their growing in large numbers and the actual disciples of Jesus hid themselves away from them . The Bible was not permitted to be read by the common man and it would require the priest to interpret which is why people were exploited and priests were given the title “Father” because the Bible instructs disciples to confess their sins to the Father in heaven (God) ... which again was exploited by the Vatican and people confessed to the priests and we know the rest...

The Vatican is also seen as the anti-Christ.

A disciple is a different matter all together. Look up the case of “Sadhu Sundar Singh” a Sikh from India who hated Christianity because he thought it was the product of the British not realising that Jesus’s direct disciple Thomas travelled to India in AD 52 much before Christianity even reached Europe and he (St. Thomas) lived there until his death.

Christianity is not concerned with anything physical. Just the soul. The spiritual state of man. It’s not interested in conquering lands or taking people captive. It can be clearly seen in the gospels at the time when Jesus is to be crucified. He is asked that very question.

Most of which is never registered at the local cop station or never given justice like the case of young 14yr old Christian boy who was attacked with acid who died after a couple of days in Bihar India.

And assault, burn alive , carry out acid attacks on ISKCON leaders / followers. It wouldn’t be a very nice or a “godly” thing to do I would imagine. Look at the case in Bihar India where a 14 yr old boy was attacked with acid in the near past. Is that Hinduism ? Where is the “ peacefulness” there then ? The boy succumbed to his wounds unfortunately .They haven’t covered the images where his skin has melted off and his bones are visible because they are unbearable to watch. May his soul rest in peace ! They did the same thing to the Australian Graham Staines who was caring for the lepers. They treat their own people as “untouchables” and when someone else steps in, they burn him alive along with his 2 little children. What a peaceful way of faith ! Wow !

@SAYYUG3z Sir Christianity cannot stand without the Jewish Torah which Christians call the Old Testament.

I’m sure you know how old the Judaism faith is. The birth of Jesus coming into this world as the Messiah / Salvation was mentioned much much before Jesus was born. The virgin birth, rejection by his own people, his death and resurrection and also the end of days and His return I judge the world in the last book in the New Testament called “The Revelation”

So similar as you might feel the story is, what you must understand is His purpose as the Son of God is to save man from the separation from God due to sin because the Bible says God is Holy.

In the First book of the Jewish Torah or as Christians call it Old Testament, God created everything by speaking His Word. So for the God of the Bible, His Word is His hand. So Jesus is God stretching out His hand saying take My hand and let me pull you out. That’s all. Jesus never came to set up religion as you see man made organisations. Christianity is different from Jesus.

And so when he sent His disciples after His resurrection, He said. “Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” The Word Gospel essentially implies “Good News” which means now the connection between The Holy God and sinful man has been bridged by The Word of God coming in human form, living a life that’s acceptable to God and then becoming the sacrificial lamb of atonement.

To understand Christianity “technically” one must understand the Jewish concepts first.

The mystery is no man can convert anyone into a genuine disciple of Jesus. When a person has a certain experience where they encounter Him themselves, only then they become a “true” disciple and will be willing to even die for that just as all the disciples of Jesus and the initial church who the Romans tortured in the Gladiator arena. And as they died more disciples grew mysteriously in number.
