Rhythm guitarist since ‘69. Learnt to play on Gibson SG Special, Watkins Dominator and Watkins Copicat. Pete Townshend was my mentor, but I have been profoundly influenced by Paul Kossoff, and Eric Clapton. I reside at Guitar Bunker, where I’m able to enjoy my guitar collection, some superb amps and whole bunch of cool pedals. The Holy Grail in my possession is Gibson Custom Shop Paul Kossoff 1959 Les Paul Standard, Green Lemon Burst, Murphy Aged. My avatar is my exact guitar. Despite my affinity with Classic Rock from the late 1960s/early 1970s, I fell in love with Country Music towards the end of the 1980s and even more deeply throughout the 1990s. Today, my favourite artists are George Ducas, Melech Frank and Carlos Varela. Towards the end of 2025, I am enjoying Zach Top and Dustin de la Garza.
