@gedam7026 Yeah probably you can also search on the internet about anti semitism in India. And surprise! You won't find a single incident of anti semitism observed by Hindus in almost two millenia altogether (INDIA IS THE ONLY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD WHERE ANTI-SEMITISM WAS NEVER OBSERVED) (please read about the history of Jewish immigration in India, especially during the second world war, when a certain community was hell bent on genociding them, when a Hindu king adopted them). The same is the case with Zoroastrians kicked out by Islamic invaders and Tibetan refugees kicked out by athiests. Yeah that's enough proof that if you don't meddle with Hindus, they won't harm you, but if you do, then don't be surprised if they hit back (although I condemn every violent activity). Also, search for the topic "proselyticsm" on Wikipedia and find which religions are actively involved in these activities. "Proselytisation is alien to Indian religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism given that they are pluralistic. Due to an understanding of justice fundamentally based upon metaphysically cyclical concepts such as karma and rebirth, the Indic religions have diametrically been opposed to the type of exclusivism and proselytizing seen in Abrahamic religions as it, theologically speaking, would both be unnecessary and serve as a distraction towards the teaching most accustomed to the personal individual's sādhanā (spiritual practice) and samskaras (intrinsic qualities)"---- the article says. Regarding ISKCON -----"Devotees have no codified rituals of conversion, but promote recitation of the Hare Krishna mantra as a means to achieve a mature stage of love of God. A commonly accepted notion among devotees is that ISKCON allows one to recognize the primacy of the supreme deity, Krishna, IN THE PRACTICES AND TRADITIONS OF OTHER FAITHS". In "recorded and written history", Hinduism began in the Indus Valley Civilization in 2500 BC (although Hindus believe that Hinduism existed way before that also, since their scriptures talk about the information that was passed on to them by the word of mouth). If prostylization and conversion is something that Hinduism wanted to achieve, it would have achieved that way before Christianity arrived in 1 CE (keeping in mind that Hinduism has existed more before Christianity than Christianity has existed till now, as of 2022). I would suggest you read about the conversion of the continent of Africa. The upper half is Islamic the lower half is Christian. It seems as though there is some sort of a competition as to who is able to gather more number of followers. I would also suggest you read about the indigenous tribes in North America South America and Africa. I would also suggest you to read about the history of conversion in Goa and Kerala during Portuguese rule. I would also suggest you to read about the history of conversion in the North Eastern states of India. All of who were primarily tribes who were left alone by Hindus for millenia altogether to let them practice their faith their way. I would also suggest you to read about the sources of funding of the missionaries in India, there are articles after articles on the internet, freely available. "When the missionaries came to Africa they had the Bible and we had the land. They said 'Let us pray. ' We closed our eyes. When we opened them we had the Bible and they had the land"- Desmond Tutu. Even Mahatma Gandhi expressed concerns about the missionary activities: "This [Christian] proselytization will mean no peace in the world. Conversions are harmful to India. If I had the power and could legislate I should certainly stop all proselytizing ... It pains me to have to say that the Christian missionaries as a body, with honorable exceptions, have actively supported a system which has impoverished, enervated and demoralized a people considered to be among the gentlest and most civilized on earth".
P.S. I personally believe that every religion has good people and bad people like you said, but eastern religions have been more inclusive and that is a historical fact.
