Then I met a realised Saint and asked him how could the devotees of God be so rigid and narrow minded like iskconians? As I got numerous experiences of the love of Krishna without chanting Mala hundreds of times a day and these fellows have none. He said 'in each time frame there exist people who abuse and curse Krishna, it becomes their fate to keep on chanting Krishna 's name for their whole life in their next birth. That is why they are open to no other form of connection with God.'

@madhavsinghsodhi1614 I have heard one of these women preachers of Iskcon. She said to a congregation of women that women are badmaash hence they must stay in control of men..Wow! I mean even women co-opt with all these things. Never faced oppression and dominance? My ex husband was a staunch devotee of Iskcon and he made my life hell illtreating and torturing me. All his devotion to Iskcon could not heal him of his abusive nature. However even before marrying him I had issues against Iskcon because of the way women were represented in the books of Iskcon.. Its claims that a women's sexual desire is 9 times that of a man hence a sage of yore had to take 9 forms to please his wife. I mean where you people get these conclusions from?

All these claims about any critic being a vaishnav apradhi are so cliched. Have heard them n number of times. Nothing original to say..Just a repeat of what gets said ad nauseam in Iskon community.

@madhavsinghsodhi1614 no they are not and when you criticize them you commit a sin against the knowers of the formless aspect of the Divine. You call them bogus? How? You say God has a form. Fine but what is the proof except the diety form which you create? Have you seen or experienced even the real form of God? You just parrot what has been told to you. As for me yes I have experienced both the formless as well as the personal form of the Divine. So I know that Divine has not one but many many attributes. Confining him to one and condemning others a reflection of a narrow and limited mind.I have spent 7 years with Iskon only to find these people having no ability to think critically. They think dancing before god and chanting Mala is doing bhakti. When you ask them have they felt the love felt by the Gopis, or Meera they evade answering this question. They haven't..when you dont have the experience of what you claim to do how can you have any authority to comment of advaita or the principle of shunya? When real knowledge descends even the Vedas become irrelevant because you are living and breathing the experience of God. As for the Vedas which iskonian as read the Vedas? You people only read what Prabhupada wrote and called ot Vedanta.

All fine but I found ISKCON very patriarchal and misogynistic. They say man is subordinate to God and woman is subordinate to man. Wow! How convenient. And they want everybody to worship Krishna in the way they prescribe. And what is this chanting 16 malas everyday? Such bondage to chanting. I never found joy in it. Secondly they run down meditation, yoga or any other form of worship of the divine. They condemn shunyawadis, advaitavadis, buddha loversand what not without even understanding what these concepts stand for. Full of rigid people who cannot see or look beyond what is taught to them. You will see a strange uniformity and a complete lack of diversity among the followers of ISKCON. It's just another form of Christianity or Islam with a Hindu look.
