@Dave_en I have no idea about Vivekananda went bankrupt. I mean I didn't read anywhere but I read that Vivekananda belong from a aristocratic progressive educated family. His father was an attorney in Calcutta high Court. After his father's death the family had to face poverty. It is Vivekananda the youth icon of India not Vijay Mallya or Lalit Modi to go bankrupt.

@cazetvint Gautam Buddha was the son of a king, Swami Vivekananda belong from an affluent family who was a genius and highly educated too... and yes they left wealth in search of spiritual wisdom. Srila Prabhupada comes from poor background. His house is still the same old fashioned one. They prefer to stay poor even after having so much wealth. Their thirst was for spiritual wealth not money.
