@DD-su5ht Exactly. Disciplic succession must be maintained. If we can get initiated as disciples of gurus that are gone... let's just skip right over the middle men and get initiated in Chaitanya's name. Not to belittle Srila Prabhupada in any way, but the ritviks are trying to promote him to a higher status, just as early christians and buddhists did to their leaders. When a charismatic leader leaves, weak followers try to promote the leader's charisma, instead of stepping up. Prabhupada, jesus, and buddha were gurus... and that does not diminish them in any way.

Wow a blast from the past! The only time I saw this was almost 30 years ago, when KRSNA Vision came to the Dallas, TX. temple.
Improving the Prabhupada Black and White Videos -- Please Help

The improvements are very impressive. There are some odd blooming/contrast effects on the edges of some items... but the rest of the clean up makes it worth it. It has to be a hard balance to find. I already own almost all the media y'all sell; will these available soon? (soon'ish?)

His subtext was "she dressed conservatively, did not drink or take drugs, did not participate in illicit sex, or want to kill animals... all very foreign to us." People fear what they do not understand, and he is too close minded to see.

dansman1729 They are not vegan, they are vegetarian. They cook in ghee (clarified butter, use a lot of cheese (mostly curds), and have about 100 desserts made from milk. They are vegetarian. They believe in reincarnation, and believe all animals have souls.

Awesome to find this. I do not think I ever saw this one before. I think the 1982 date is a bit off, though. I see I am wearing a wedding ring, and did not get married until Dec 1983. Jai Kalachandji! 😎

@lloydmckay3241 Exactly. A fallen guru started the ritvik nonsense and the "poisoning" lie. The only poison there might have been would be from Srila Praphupada's advanced diabetes.
