Satya Das 2 months agoSrila Prabhupada wanted a self sufficient farm community at New Vrindavan far from all modern technology. Not against skyscraper temples, but why at a farm community? Aren't you diluting the core purpose?

He killed my uncle.
He created a communistic country where God was forbidden. He tortured Hare Krsna Devotees.
Krishna Tube 10 months agoYes. Of course, there are no great materialists. And I can understand for sure that the statement has upset you and it is not something I would say. It is not something that Srila Prabhupada would say either. Krishna is great and that is what we say as devotees. "Krishna is great. Chant Hare Krishan and be happy."
I think what Kirtananda was saying that today there are no great men, and that is certainly true, but in the past even back 100 years there were still some 'great' men. They are 'great' demons of course, as you correctly point out. But Swami's point I think is that today there are not even any great demons. Today our political leaders are terribly weak and stupid, compared to someone like Stalin. Who was a big demon, you could say even great demon. But today there are not even any great demons....
