Shiva and Daksa Play LA Gurukula Reunion 1999 -- Incredibly Good -- Never Seen Before

Hare Krishna Vaisnava Youth performed this play at New Dwarka, Los Angeles during the 1999 Gurukul student reunion. It was filmed with three cameras but nothing was really done with the tapes.
So we have now presented it in HD edited from the three cameras and it is much more fabulous than I remember it to be.
Very nice dramatization of the Daksha Yajna pastime in Srimad-Bhagavatam. Daksha's daughter, Sati, marries Lord Shiva, much to Daksha's disgust. Then Daksha holds a great sacrifice, yajna, but does not invite Lord Shiva. This is very upsetting to Shiva's wife, Sati, who curses Daksha and then bursts into fire and leaves her body.
