Part four of the Prabhupada book distribution seminar is: The Four Ironclad Laws of Book Distribution.
These four ironclad laws are: (1) Your sadhana must be strong.
(2) You must get books.
(3) The more you show, the more you sell.
(4) You must organize.
Sadhana, if we are not reading Srila Prabhupada's books and chanting at the Hare Krishna mantra we will not think that these books are very important.
You must think some other activity is more important.
To distribute Srila Prabhupada's books is not an ordinary activity.
Why would anyone take the trouble to go out and distribute Bhagavad Gita, or to stay in and think about how to distribute Bhagavad Gita.
Why would you take the trouble unless you had a very strong impulse within yourself that this is the most important thing there is in the world? And that is the essence of our preaching when we go out to the people of the world to present Srila Prabhupada's books.
They're walking along, going to the store, thinking that the most important thing for them in their life is to get some money or to get some new clothes or to get an education or to get and we are presenting something that is interrupting their thought process and we are saying, "Here, take a look at this." Unless our desire is strong, unless we are really convinced that this is the most important thing, then we won't have the potency to present it.
Nor will we actually see the importance of Srila Prabhupada's books ourselves.
So sadhana is the first ironclad law of book distribution.
Unless we are practicing ourselves...
The main principle is good sadhana...
