In September of 1986 it was announced to the Australian devotees that their guru, Bhavananda, had fallen down and was no longer a bona fide spiritual master.
This is the announcement made by Tamal Krishna Goswami and Bhagavan Goswami at the New Govardhan Australian Hare Krishna Farm.
This was the start of a string of falldowns from ISKCON's 'good as God' gurus.
Bhagavan Goswami, who you see in this video, would fall down himself a few months later also.
