    Why not just sing Hare Krishna?

    I am not sure that Srila Prabhupada would have approved of such a presentation.

      But Prabhupada liked George Harrison and his attempts to spread Krishna consciousness and the Hare Krishna mantra in his music.

      Although that is something different from full time devotees doing it.

      Atma Man 11 months ago​@KrishnaTubeThere is no need to imitate George Harrison. Useless imitations will not help to spread the message. If there is talent and fame, they can be used in the service of Krishna, which is what Srila Prabhupada did. He used George Harrison's fame.

      It is better for these guys to simply do what the acharya asked, without considering themselves smarter than him.

      _aikāntikī harer bhaktir_

      _utpātāyaiva kalpate_

      *Unless one refers to **_śāstra (śruti, smṛti and purāṇādi),_** one’s spiritual activity simply disturbs society.*
