lenny108 3 years agoAs it stands today, it was all planned from the beginning to eventually turn the Palace of Gold into a for-profit tourist attraction. Six hundred monks and nuns were used to raise the money and after the construction was completed and paid for, they were driven away by outrageous staged scandals. And the new owners converted the whole thing into a hotel operation. Similar modus operandi in European countries and Australia.
