Documentary on the life of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the golden colored avatar of Krishna who appeared five hundred years ago in Sridham Mayapur on the banks of the river Ganges in India.
Lord Caitanya is directly the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krishna.
But in His appearance as Lord Caitanya He does not reveal his actual position.
Lord Caitanya appears in a different mood to Krishna.
When Krishna appeared as Krishna He could not taste the painful, yet ecstatic, feelings that Radharani had for Him when she was separated from Him.
Because as Krishna, He can never be separated from Himself, in this incarnation He appeared as Lord Caitanya in the mood of a devotee.
If anyone would address Lord Caitanya as being Krishna Himself He would deny it.
That was not his mood in the incarnation of Caitanya.
As Caitanya He had the same mood as Srimati Radharani who when she was separated from Krshna.
The pastimes of Lord Caitanya are very deep and very confidential and this film gives us an introduction to them.
