Many think that the abuse of children in the Hare Krishna ISKCON gurukul schools is a thing of the past. Unfortunately the abuse continues as this documentary by shows. It exposes the frightening fact that the same ISKCON management that presided over the massive abuse of Hare Krishna children in the 80's and 90's is still in power and they are still protecting the child abusers and continue to put the known child abusers and pedophiles in positions of responsiblity in ISKCON where they have full access to children. This is particularaly true in the ISKCON Indian gurukul schools at Mayapur and Vrindavan. Hare Krishna devotees send their children to these international gurukuls thinking they will be getting a spiritual education but the unfortunate reality is quite different.

By taking the time and approaching the concerned people for the innocent children. And questioning and confronting the ones that were supposed to keep the children safe. And be responsible, in taking action against this evil monsters 👺 molesters ! And responsible for making sure there was justice for the innocent victims the children or teenagers. Great service.
Sooner or later, one is exposed and the truth comes out. And judgement comes, some times late but it will come. Those are the laws God in this world. And surely in the next life in hell ! For creating so much cruelty and violence and physical pain and mental distress and mental illness and mental health issues and mental abuse ! Against this innocent small victims .

omvendtslev 10 months agoWhat i do as a youthleader, and thats all i can do, because the pedophiles are a very well organiized gang, is to create an environment where predators cant "eat". Its just to difficult for them if the children knows that they are loved and guarded, with if necessary, the life of the adult !

You are right 3 years agoI am absolutely disgusted by the abuser and by anyone who stated by his side! Many westerners joined HK movement to escape the troubles they had in their lives... many suffered child abuse at home. ISCKON should start a serious trial, before just picking anyone to become a Brahmacarya! It's not about numbers, but about quality. People should also start being examined by psychiatrists before becoming monks!! Child abuse is absolutely unacceptable anywhere, specially in a spiritual community! Thank you for this Documentary! Michele 3 years agoTo sum it up: Never send your child to an Iskcon boarding school. Period. Nobody will love your children the way you do. I can't believe people were willing to send their children to these schools even AFTER the abuses were revealed. Bad parenting. The parents are just as guilty. Even in the beginning, before abuses were revealed, who sends 5 year olds to boarding schools? Really. What is wrong with people? - A Singh 3 years agoHinduism does not have a concept of guilt transference. It has only a concept of clear justice. A human’s sins don’t not transfer to God. The law of Karma permits no exception. Irrespective of who he is, the pedophile HAS to be exposed and punished. ISKCON cannot and should not be allowed to become the Catholic Church.

- A Singh 3 years agoAny guru who does not take immmediate steps to punish a pedophile and protect his victim is not a real Hindu. Hindus have always seen little girls as personifications of the Devi. That is why even today little girls will be called Ma in Bengal. And boys are no less. Eva Janny Freymann 4 years agoThank you very much for the report. I have known ISKCON myself since 1984 and am shocked by the many child abuses and the silence (denying it) of various swamis and the GBC.
Even today, in 2022, the subject of child abuse, e.g. in Mayapur, has become public again. By people who were/are known to the GBC and no responsibility was taken on the part of the GBC. Also, the GBC itself consists almost exclusively of men.
I am deeply depressed in my heart. It's exactly the same with child abuse in the Catholic Church. There, too, bishops cover up the truth.
Still, I think it's time not only to uncover the cases, to look and be mindful, BUT to ask the general question of what celibacy does to people (men)!!!! This has nothing to do with Krishna, nor with any belief, but with human suppression of love and closeness! Everyone needs security, attention and closer trust to another person!!! This is something to think about - also within ISKCON!!! I don't think sexual abuse will ever stop otherwise! And we humans are guests on this earth and committed to the peaceful and harmonious formation of this planet!!!- thumb_up — 21

Some of these bogus gurus got caught red handed, some ran away with money of devotees, some are still continuing as gurus in iskcon (eg: radhanathswami , bhavanand swami)😡,,their words are sweet like honey but they r absolute rascals, there are some genuine gurus too , i listen their harikathas, nd if u would ever feel like buying unedited books of srila prabhupadh , u may buy that through KBI, nd i listen to original teachings of srila Prabhupada from utube, these idiots have destroyed iskcon which srila padhupadha found, nd atlast, ppl are thinking srila prabhupadh is bogus 😔

The head of it last year talked about their intentions regarding pedophilia. And my ex girlfriend let her self fall victim to them because she can’t think for her self any longer. Goran Mekota 6 years ago The Catholic Church with thousands of years of administrative development and a fully developed internal legal system started crushing down on abuse only after civil authorities and media got involved. That should be a lesson, and there is a lot of that in basically every religion.
Organizations are just too interconnected and members invested to expect objectivity and motivation to deal with problems and well connected perpetrators, things have to be taken outside to the point when outside pressure in public perception, financial costs, legal consequence etc overweight internal interests.
