The original famous ISKCON Cinema film "World of Hare Krishna." Perhaps the best documentary presentation of the worldwide activities of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness ever produced. It also provides us an opportunity for a historical look at what life was like for devotees in ISKCON in the 80's and shows the preaching activities that were going on at that time.

Watching the temples, the nature, the devotees living their daily devotional lives — each frame fills the heart with peace, awe, and gratitude. Your work reminds me of Srila Prabhupada’s vision: spreading Krishna consciousness through devotion, beauty and service. The way the video shows unconditional love and the sacred atmosphere at each temple, the way devotees offer their hearts in humble service — it inspires so deeply.
We are also very eager to see videos of yet unseen temples in different places across the globe — those that haven’t appeared yet. It would mean so much if you could visit new temples, share their stories, cultures, devotees, rituals, and the unique natural beauty around them.
I humbly request: please keep uploading more such videos. Through them, many of us — far away — are able to feel connected to the sankirtan movement, to You, to the Lord, to that divine energy which Srila Prabhupada carried everywhere. Your videos awaken something sacred inside us, reminding us of what truly matters.

Regarding needing a temple to practise Kṛṣṇa consciousness, please note:
Reporter: "But suppose I were to become an initiate. Wouldn't I have to come and live in the temple?"
Śrīla Prabhupāda: "Not necessarily."
Reporter: "I can stay at home?"
Śrīla Prabhupāda: "Oh, yes."
Reporter: "What about work? Would I have to give up my job?"
Śrīla Prabhupāda: "No, you'd simply have to give up your bad habits and chant the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra on these beads – that's all."

"Gṛhe thāko vane thāko, ‘ha gaurāṅga’ bo’le ḍāko. Not that everyone has to live in the temple. [...] he can live separately. But he must follow the rules and regulation."
(Śrīla Prabhupāda, Morning Walk, 3/2/75)
"I am so pleased to hear that you are living nicely with your parents and carrying on with your Kṛṣṇa Consciousness activities. That is a good proposal. Nevermind there maybe some inconvenience. Kṛṣṇa always appreciates when his devotee makes some sacrifice on His behalf, so there is no real difficulty under any conditions so long as we remember the Supreme Personality of Godhead."

"Actually there is no difference between devotees living inside the temple and devotees living outside the temple. You are right that the important thing is to remember Kṛṣṇa, whatever is your activity."

A picture of Kṛṣṇa is also as good as seeing the Deity:
"But in Kṛṣṇa's form, if you have a Kṛṣṇa's photograph, it is as good as Kṛṣṇa. [...] You can get the same benefit from the photograph picture of Kṛṣṇa as you get benefit by directly meeting Him."

michael brin 5 years agoThat Jai Prabhupada character dresses up like a clown to make him look really "religious". Just like the Pope. But, inward they are ravenous wolves. Idolaters. Will-worshippers. They are a breeding ground for evil spirits.- michael brin 5 years agoThese people worship art. Imaginary pictures of things which never existed. May as worship the Tooth Fairy.
