It's a Vaisnava smorgasboard, everything from poverty to Alfred Ford, 39 nationalities, 54 former members of the GBC, Well it all started almost forty years ago now, Srila Prabhupada chanted Hare Krishna in Tompkins Square Park.
Young Westerners came and they listened a little and they chanted a little and they danced a little and they ate a lot of prasadam and liked it very much.
So they started teaching and preaching and outreaching and before long the whole thing kinda caught on.
There were dozens, then hundreds, then thousands of happy chanters everywhere.
They were purified and certified and bonafide and dignified and glorified and they were real happy.
For some reason all these happy chanters started marrying each other and that's when all the trouble started to begin...
